Maddie Lawhorn is a process engineer with five years of experience, focused on cell and gene therapy projects. Her work to date has primarily been with viral vectors, autologous cell therapy, allogeneic cell therapy, and optimization studies.

Maddie has worked on several cell and gene therapy projects. For example, she recently worked on a project that provided a novel innovative isolator solution for their cell processing systems. This allowed them to process their cell therapy in a closed process and lower the background HVAC classification of their processing suites.
Maddie graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a degree in bioengineering.
