Jeff Biskup
Executive Chair
Jeff co-founded CRB in 1984 and currently serves as Executive Chair of the Board of Directors. He has played an instrumental role in building CRB into a respected provider of consulting, design, and construction-related services for pharmaceutical and biotech industries, manufacturing, and research facilities and processes. A licensed Professional Engineer in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, he oversees CRB’s international growth and leadership development.
Daniel Backman
Vice President of Regional Operations, Central
Daniel has nearly three decades of experience at CRB, focused on life sciences industries. He joined the company after earning his mechanical engineering degree from Washington University and spent the first eight years of his CRB career in St. Louis. He later relocated to Michigan to support the establishment of CRB’s Kalamazoo office. Daniel serves as Vice President of Operations, using his project management and team-building expertise to lead CRB’s central region.
Shannah Falcone
Vice President of Market Engagement
Shannah is a member of CRB’s Board of Directors and leads the company’s Market Engagement group. Her team focuses on aligning solutions with client business objectives through innovation and execution, all founded on continuous improvement. She has held numerous leadership positions within the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) and participates in the Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA) and Lean Construction Institute (LCI).
Tim Hannan
External Board of Directors Member
Tim is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for News-Press & Gazette Company, and has long-term success in driving business and financial results through strategy, people, and processes. He is also Chief Financial Officer for the BERKS Group, a business investment firm, and has deep experience in public accounting.
Sandy Price
External Board of Directors Member
Sandy serves on Evergy and US Infrastructure Company boards, and also serves on the Kansas City Metropolitan Community College Foundation executive committee and on the boards of directors for the NACD Heartland Chapter and Kansas City Women Corporate Directors. She is co-chair of the development council of the United Way of Greater Kansas City. Price was named a Leadership Fellow in the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Bob Uhler
External Board of Directors Member
Bob provides strategy to senior executives, boards, and private equity firms to build value for their companies. He currently sits on several engineering and construction corporate boards, including TRC, Inc. and Stanley Consultants, and he previously served as Chairman of Great Lakes Dredge and Dock. Uhler also has been named as a National Association of Corporate Directors Leadership Fellow.
Eric Unrau
Senior Vice President, International Operations
Eric has nearly 30 years of experience within the industrial sector including specialty chemicals and life sciences industries. His global experience includes consulting, capital projects, business management and strategic business planning across the United States, Europe and Asia. As Senior Vice President of International Operations, Eric is responsible for driving the growth of CRB’s operations outside the United States.
Dirk Schafer
Board of Directors Advisory Member
With nearly 40 years in construction leadership, Dirk served in numerous roles at JE Dunn Construction before ultimately becoming its COO and Midwest Region President. His focus on strategy and mentorship have earned him widespread respect throughout the industry, and his alignment with CRB’s values of technical excellence, collaboration and entrepreneurship make Schafer an invaluable addition to the Board.
Leadership
Lee Emel
Interim President and Chief Executive Officer
Lee has nearly 30 years of experience with life sciences capital programs and strategic business planning. As a subject matter expert for CRB’s ONEsolution delivery model, he has overseen the delivery of life sciences projects in the U.S. and abroad, including three ISPE Facility-of-the-Year Award Winners. As Vice President of CRB’s Southeast Operations, Lee manages key relationships with regional/national clients and industry partners.
Sam Kitchell
Chief Operating Officer
Sam oversees all CRB Operations, responsible for successful project delivery and business outcomes across CRB’s international footprint. Before becoming COO, he led CRB’s Emerging Business Operations group, responsible for bringing new initiatives to the marketplace. With more than 25 years of industry experience, he has held high-level operations leadership roles at multiple biopharma companies before joining CRB in 2021.
Danielle David
Chief People Officer
Danielle’s teams are building programs and policies that attract and engage the best in our industry. She has spent much of her career supporting global organizations in various HR and recruiting leadership roles, most recently as HR Director for a global engineering and construction firm specializing in power, and oil and gas. She joined CRB in 2019.
Sue Dreckman
Senior Vice President, Business Operations
Sue provides oversight and connectivity to ensure that Technical and Regional Operations are supported with the appropriate business infrastructure to operate efficiently. Sue’s scope of responsibility includes interface and coordination across all enterprise functions to link new technology to effective business operations, support effective change management, promote knowledge sharing, and develop processes that improve business effectiveness.
Tracy Stanfield
Vice President, Information and Technology
Tracy leads our information and technology groups, enabling CRB to deliver world-class experiences for clients. Responsible for technology infrastructure, security, applications, data and intelligence, and technical project management, he has 30 years of construction experience in both operations and technology to help integrate new technologies at CRB. Tracy joined the company in 2011.
Courtney Holt
General Counsel
Courtney directs all aspects of CRB’s legal affairs, ensuring compliance for the company’s policies and business activities and advising the management team about business impacts. She joined CRB in 2018 as Assistant General Counsel, responsible for a broad range of legal matters including contracts, disputes, corporate law and governance, compliance, employment, and other areas of law relevant to the company’s business.
