Matt Khair Receives 40 Under 40 Award

Jun 8, 2017

Congratulations to Matthew Khair on receiving the Consulting-Specifying Engineer, 40 Under 40 award. Matt is a project manager, associate and core team leader of CRB’s Rockville team that specializes in the design, construction and startup of biotechnology, pharmaceutical and advanced technology facilities.

After working his way up as a process engineer in our Pennsylvania office, working on biopharmaceutical manufacturing process systems, Matt took on a project manager role for some of our most important projects and clients. When CRB made the decision to open an office in the Maryland area, Matt was an obvious choice. In just two years he has built a successful 40-person office with a strong mix of architects, mechanical, electrical, and process engineers. This office has already completed two significant and successful biopharm research and manufacturing projects in Maryland.

Matt’s management style is described as “encouraging,” “passionate” and “enthusiastic”. He has created an office with an impressive culture and strong work ethic – which are both very important to CRB!

The Consulting-Specifying Engineer 40 Under 40 program honors the 40 most talented young professionals supporting the building and engineering community and recognizes their accomplishments. Candidates are nominated by a professional colleague and judged based on their commitment to excellence in their academic, professional, personal and community involvement.

“This year’s 40 Under 40 winners are superb in so many ways,” said Amara Rozgus, editor-in-chief of Consulting-Specifying Engineer. “Now in its tenth year, the program has expanded to honor the best of the best in the industry.”
