Pablo Coronel, Ph.D. will speak at the 3-A Sanitary Standards, Inc. (SSI) 2023 Education Event and Annual Meeting, May 9-11 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The event brings together food and dairy processors, equipment manufacturers, and regulators to discuss the advancement of food safety through hygienic design.
Coronel will present “Engineering for Food Safety,” offering insights into the hygienic design of all aspects of the food supply chain, including warehousing, transportation, preparation, processing, and final distribution. Attendees will learn how to apply a practical engineering approach to design food safety into their facility using process systems engineering and data-mining techniques, with a goal of improving safety and overall operational or supply-chain efficiencies.
