This year CRB exhibits again at the Karlsruhe LOUNGES and is represented with 4 expert presentations in the 3-day conference program. The LOUNGES is an event that focuses on cleanroom and cleanroom technology as well as aspects of processes in the pharmaceutical industry.

Castellani, Process Specialist at CRB, will discuss the latest ATMP trends in Europe and the impact of these on the future facility designs. The ATMP boom since 2019, with the approval of Kymriah and Yescarta, followed by Zolgensma as well as other therapeutic products, has quickly focused the world’s attention on ATMPs. The attendees will learn how the new generations of ATMPs will change the market as well as the regulatory requirements especially and what needs to be considered when transitioning from lab planning to a commercial-scale manufacturing.

Basics of Water Chemistry

The attendees will get an introduction of the basics of water chemistry like the properties of water and its chemical and microbiological constituents. Stefanie Blioch, Process Engineer at CRB, will further discuss critical parameters for the design of a pharmaceutical water treatment system.
