The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) has released its Good Practice Guide: Pharma 4.0™ – Holistic Digital Enablement, a pivotal resource designed to help life sciences organizations navigate the complexities of digital transformation. This Guide goes beyond technology adoption, offering a comprehensive framework that addresses cultural change, workforce readiness, and data governance alongside the integration of advanced technologies such as AI and machine learning.

Digital and bound versions are available for purchase through ISPE here.

CRB is proud to see its experts actively contributing to this industry-shaping initiative. Yvonne Duckworth, PE, Senior Fellow of Digital Technologies at CRB and co-chair of ISPE’s Holistic Digital Enablement Subcommittee, played a key role in developing the Guide’s practical roadmap for implementing Pharma 4.0 enablers. Additionally, Ryan Thompson, CRB’s Senior Specialist of Industry 4.0, and other global thought leaders ensured that the Guide delivers actionable insights on overcoming challenges such as legacy systems, cybersecurity, and regulatory complexity.

This milestone underscores CRB’s commitment to advancing digital transformation in pharmaceutical manufacturing and supporting clients in achieving smarter, more connected operations that lead to improved patient outcomes.
