Zach is an advocate for sustainability and green building, bringing innovative energy reduction and alternative energy solutions to client projects. His experience centers around the life sciences and biotech industries, with a background in process engineering, detailed design, facility start-up, validation services, and schematic design. He has a strong understanding of industry-wide sustainability market trends and is currently evaluating commercially available and robust waste-to-energy solutions for single-use materials with minimal environmental impact.

Zach is a significant contributor to CRB’s Energy and Sustainability Community of Practice, a member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, and has been honored for his outstanding participation and leadership within USGBC’s National Capital Region.

“I’ve been interested in sustainability for as long as I can remember, even building model hydrogen fuel cells as a kid. Now, having the opportunity to make a significant impact with our clients and their facilities to meet the industry’s most ambitious sustainability targets, every day is a chance to have a positive impact on health and the environment.”

Zach earned his Master’s and Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering with a Minor in Sustainability from the Colorado School of Mines.
