James Golden brings over 23 years of experience in pharmaceutical engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states. His expertise spans a wide range of areas, with a strong focus on oral solid dose (OSD) manufacturing, powder handling, high-hazard containment, and the design of facilities handling hazardous chemicals, oligonucleotides, and peptides.

As a Fellow at CRB, James serves as co-lead of the firm’s Hazardous Material Community of Practice. In this role, he plays a key part in advancing internal knowledge and best practices related to safety and facility design for hazardous materials—contributing to the success of future projects in rapidly evolving sectors such as peptides and oligonucleotides.

James is a long-standing member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE). He has served on the API Community of Practice Committee and is currently a contributing author for the upcoming ISPE Baseline Guide on Peptide and Oligonucleotide Facility Design.
