Carissa Marak, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C

Carissa is a seasoned architect who’s passionate about sustainable design and technology, as well as sharing her sustainability expertise. Her experience includes pharma and biotech manufacturing, high–hazard facilities and spaces, R&D laboratories, packaging and filling, commercial, higher education, healthcare, civic and judicial projects. She has guided clients through all design and construction phases, including project management, architectural lead roles, LEED and WELL coordination. Carissa advocates for setting sustainability goals in the earliest stage of a new project to maximize impact and opportunities.  

Carissa earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology-Chicago. She is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, National council of Architects and American Institute of Architects.
