Christa Myers named 2019 Class of Influential Women in Manufacturing by Putnam Media.

Founded in late 2017 by Putman Media editors Erin Hallstrom, Alexis Gajewski and Christine LaFave Grace, Influential Women in Manufacturing seeks to recognize women who are effecting change in manufacturing and industrial production and engaging the next generation of manufacturing leaders.

Myers says “The next generation of manufacturing leaders will need to understand the history of the past that has driven our technologies and workforce as well as be continually aware of the vision of the future. I teach people to go back to basics to understand the reasoning for their technology. Once you understand the critical components for each step, you can begin to perceive what can be changed to improve and advance the manufacturing process. It takes a lot of studying, attention to detail, and patience to understand current manufacturing as you plan for the future.”

Myers joins 27 manufacturing leaders—among more than 120 women nominated by their peers and others they’ve inspired—join the ranks of Influential Women in Manufacturing.
