CRB Professionals to Speak at Sessions at ISPE Annual Meeting 2012

The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) will hold its Annual Meeting November 11-14, 2012 in San Francisco, California. This four-day conference will include networking, exhibits, and educational and regulatory sessions. CRB professionals will serve as speakers in different areas of expertise.
Jeffrey Biskup, P.E., President and CEO and Witold Lehmann, P.E., Process Engineer of CRB Consulting Engineers, Inc. will speak as industry experts as a part of Session 102: Re-Tasking Existing Equipment and Legacy Facilities on Sunday, November 11 from 1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The session will focus on addressing business-level considerations and economics to be evaluated when looking to purchase equipment that is available for resale. Biskup and Lehmann’s contribution will cover Facility Implications: The Practical Realities.
Additionally, Niranjan Kulkarni, PhD, Operations Specialist at CRB will be a featured speaker at Session 304: Biotechnology Manufacturing: A “Short Course” in Planning & Design, Operational Variability and Uncertainty & Human Error Reduction, and Single Use/Disposable Technologies & The Future – Biotech’s 4th Decade. This session will occur on Tuesday, November 13 from 1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Specifically, Kulkarni’s topic will focus on dealing with operational variability and uncertainties in evolving biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
